This was very similar to my Cub uniform (1970's) but I think our shorts were a bit longer! In our Pack we were allowed (encouraged?) go nude at camp if we wanted to, but we were definatly NOT allowed to wear any clothes when we were playing in or near water, very occasionally one of the boys would want to wear trunks but Akela preferred us all to swim naked.

In Brazil, nudity is currently prohibited in activities.

The 'early' Cub-Scout uniform, until 1966 (ish) the Cubs were known as Wolf-Cubs and wore a wolves head badge on the left breast and on the cap, in 1966 they were renamed as Cub-Scouts and the wolves head badge was replaced with a green diamond badge with the Scout badge in gold. Just about the time I joined this badge was replaced by the so-called 'World badge', Purple with a white Scout badge on it surrounded by a knotted rope. It is still worn today, but the last few years have seen a steady re-appearance of Wolf-Cubs as a legitimate splinter organisation. What goes round....

This photo is very funny, wolf with white socks?, it is unusual to see them! For me it is lovely to see you dressed like that, it looks much as I do dress my Cub. Which place is this photo? I loved it!

One possible reason 'Bob-a-job' died out.... Cub looking for 'bob-a-jobs' "Got any jobs misses?" Lady of the house "here is a tin of green paint and a brush, go round the back of the house and give the old porch a couple of good thick coats of paint" Cub, an hour later... "I've finish painting missus, I gave it two REALLY thick coats of paint, can I have my money?" "Oh! and by the way, it's NOT a Porche, it's a Ferrari!"

The Wolf-Cub era, the 'jerseys tucked into shorts' wasn't really a good look!

What a gem of a picture, just like we were at Cubs! Also the kneeling boy in the middle of the picture appears to be 'going commando' just like many of us Cubs did in the 1960's!
