LOL! They are great fighter planes and I didn't omit them by choice....I just haven't run across them at any of the air shows I've been too lately. Otherwise, they would have been pictured here with the rest. But we all know who makes the best fighter planes! :-)

It is indeed, better known as the "Tomcat" and this plane is from the Jolly Roger Naval Squadron, circa 1975-2005. Tough and durable especially in air to air dogfights. A great training plan for battle bound aviators of its time.

I saw a mach 3 flyby while I was at sea by the XO of the Kitty Hawk. Very incredible, not something you will see on land, too many booms!

It was a couple second time span that we were able to see him from in sight to out of sight again. He was almost out of sight when we heard the boom. He popped many rivets on the wings doing maneuvers too fast.
