Most of the movie takes place on an island where the wild things are. It's actually taking place in the boy's mind. A lot of things that are taking place on the island, match up with what the boy is thinking about. Max has a lot of energy in this movie. When you watch it, at least watch it until it gets to where the wild things are. The movie is a little distant before that.

I love this movie a lot more than others seem to. It really reminds me of what it felt like to be a boy.
