Joseph Mazzello was a great actor, and this was one of his best movies. The Mighty was a copy of it. It even has the little sick boy riding on the other's shoulders. This was only on the DVD cover for The Cure.<g>

I liked it a lot. There was a copy of it done in the late nineties. The funny thing about that is that that movie would have the older guy carrying the sick one around on his shoulders. I don't remember that from The Cure, except for the cover. Also, Joseph Mazzello was one of the two best boy acters ever. The other is Bill Milner.

Joseph Mazello is one of my two favorite boy actors. The other is Bill Milner. You should try High Lonesome. It's also called A Father for Charlie, and has Louis Gossett Jr. in it. He didn't really pull off acting as a racist in that movie. No one else did either. He also looked ridiculous in the one scene where he held a gun. For the most part though, his acting was superb. Really, really good. The Cure was the first movie I saw with Joseph Mazello.
