For my recommendations I'll start with The Red Hand Gang. It's a series from the seventies, and has Matthew Labyorteaux in it. He played Albert on Little House on the Prairie...Secondly, I'll stick with TV, and recommend The Last Brickmaker in America. It's a TV movie about an old man (Sidney Poitier) who makes bricks by hand. He doesn't feel like getting to work to fulfill a contract because his wife died. A boy who got into some trouble at school, and has problems with his separated (I don't think they're divorced) parents, stays with him for a while. I won't tell the ending, but I will say that I really like happy endings.
