Yeah I remember one such place that we as kids our parents took us to a river beach every summer and we'd stayed all day long till way after dark and would swim if the weather was very hot. Dad took the fishing pole down to the fishing place, we would have a great big fish dinner about dusk time and could see the water falls that was so beautiful at a distance. Now because it wasn't taken care of and state no longer maintain the park any longer, trees took over, beach no longer there, well it's still there but it's not as nice as it use to be that's for sure because of all the trees. My kids would have loved that place if it was well kept like than that's for sure especially my youngest kid. He loves looking at the photos I have when I was his age because he looks so much like I did when I was 10 or 11, he has a very long mullet hairstyle like I did for a boy and exactly like I was refusing to cut his hair when we would say time for a haircut running to his bedroom yelling and screaming I ain't getting a haircut. Always crawling in my lap wanting me to tell stories when I was a kid. He really brings back the memories when I was growing up. Sure miss the good old days. I hope you enjoyed my story.
