Kids should be able to decide when they are ready to give up diapers and use the toliet. Age should not matter when you give up diapers. I have two kids who are 6 and 8 who are homeschooled and both wear diapers and change themselves. Also I wear diapers because it feels comfortable especially when I need to pee and I can just go.
