They are of a private boarding school (up to 13 years old) called Walhampton School in Hampshire, England. The pictures came from a website for past pupils and show a school trip to France in 1973. The sandals - either open and T-bar types - seem to have been part of their summer uniform. I have recently uploaded more pictures to my "Boys in School Sandals" album - pages 57 and 58. They all have "walhampton" in the file name.
