I agree and that's ok in like the car or something but in a supermarket, or the middle of the streets or generally in public its usually frowned upon here. In the summer this year my son went behind the bush at the park, he was told off by another adult .... I was literally sat right there. So that didn't go down well. So that caused an issue for future park visits
