Yes boys at this age still think girls are yucky and girls this age like to tease boys and the boys don't have the freedom and interaction they have with each other alone.

Maybe it's because I got picked on a lot. I am not saying boys should not have interaction with girls because this is not natural, I only posted this because I notice boys act differently when they are together. Could be I'm old school. Swimming together is fine, but the same time there are activities where it's best for boys to be with boys and same for girls (Girl Scouts are for girls and Boy Scouts are for boys)

Yes, a lot depends on the circumstances and the age of children. And I recognize that girls are particularly before puberty literally crazy. I was glad I had to work with them only minimally... :)

Now that I have 2 wonderful girls in my life that are 8 and 6 years. I am learning from them. I never had sisters or girl cousins in the home when growing up.

We were three brothers. But I have lots of cousins. Maybe I learned a lot of them something, who knows. Anyway, I am rather grateful for the brothers... :DD
