You know what... Since we’re planning to close our studio (or maybe not—it hasn't been decided yet), Curly is asking you for an "artistic sanctuary." He hopes you’ll treat him with care and photograph him only in the "right" way—and, what's more, he needs to look "alive" and soulful. I’d love to see that. )

PS: Oh, it’s a funny world. So many coincidences! I hope the real-life inspirations don't think that the images on display at my vernissage are actually *them*? Oh, no! They’re just uncanny "real-life lookalikes"—so any objections are dismissed. Although... I’m completely at ease when it comes to this particular character. The Curly - is truly unique.

I was so focused on the body, that I didn't recognise the face. With that shaggy mane, I still can't place him, though I am usually pretty good at it. When I 'borrow' faces, I sometimes use terms like 'face was inspired by...' or 'modeled after...'
