One has to bear in mind that the artist painted this boy when he (the author) was only 24 himself. This fact tells much more about the possible relational background behind this piece of art, to those who know about the transgender relationships - the strongest feelings are exactly between the young men in their 20s, and the teenagers, and this painting goes far beyond just a painting.
