It is not the cover to a Grecian Guild catalog, but more importantly a history of The Grecian Guild. Founded in 1955 by gay activist Henry L. Womack, Grecian Guild was the major USA publisher and distributor of gay books and magazines from 1955-1968. If you go to the last paragraph of the last page (p9), it seems as if the editor is announcing the closing of Guild Press. That would date this 9-page publication sometime in 1968. Grecian Guild started its enterprise with the first issue (Winter 1955)of the Grecian Guild Pictorial, a gay bodybuilding magazine that pictured muscular young men at first in posing straps, then nude later on. This magazine lasted 70 issues, ending in 1968. A second magazine was introduced entitled Grecian Studio Quarterly 1962-1968.
