You asked our correspondents to take as soon as possible a series of photographs about the life of the inhabitants of your blooming, green metropolis on the occasion of the completion of the construction of the pyramid in your name, built ahead of schedule, in just one year and two months. Your request has been fulfilled . We have prepared and selected a series of photographs for your consideration. We are sending the parcel by the fastest post office. Please do not be angry and do not send me to hard labor if my photographs do not accurately convey the vital pulse of our era in all its manifestations. Содержание одного из них нас заинтересовало. В нем находилась пачка хорошо сохранившихся цветных фотографий размером 6х6, сделанных неизвестным науке способом, и красивый свиток пергамента с полностью переведенным текстом. Вот текст: - «Господин товарищ Дорогой Фараон! Вы просили наших корреспондентов в кратчайшие сроки сделать серию фотографий о жизни жителей вашего цветущего, зеленого мегаполиса по случаю завершения строительства пирамиды вашего имени, построено раньше срока, всего за один год и два месяца. Ваша просьба выполнена. Мы подготовили и отобрали для Вашего рассмотрения серию фотографий. Отправляем посылку самой быстрой почтой. Пожалуйста, не сердитесь и не посылайте меня на каторгу, если мои фотографии не передадут точно жизненный пульс нашей эпохи во всех ее проявлениях.
