This was in front of Sam & Gregg's (on the Courthouse Square) in Huntsville AL. S & G was closed down in 2018.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-03-06 22:43
Wow, imgsrc finally decided to go back online! Yes, I've been to the Barber Museum, but not for quite a few years. Several of my friends, who ride faster sportsbikes, have raced at the track there.

Bela moto , amo pegar a estrada

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2019-03-27 19:53
Oh yeah! That church was built in the 1300's (about when I was born). I need to add some historical data here: http://www.heritage.norfolk.gov.uk/record-details?MNF8372-St-John's-Church-Waxham-Sea-Palling&Index=7851&RecordCount=56881&SessionID=b775a58d-d30c-4d3c-9296-27a3be392775. It was right near the sea.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-02-17 18:05
BMW K100RS at the Hampden Township Pool in PA. I was there taking photos of the "Hampden Ducks" swim team (see their album).

Great Motorcycle

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2021-06-24 03:45
I got a good 15 years out of it.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-02-18 02:48
This is where I purchased the Triumph Trident Sprint in 2001

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-02-18 02:49
My Triumph at the power plant in Great Yarmouth where I was working 2000 - 2001

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-02-18 05:35
On my way from Great Yarmouth to Gaeta, I stayed overnight at Cousin Georgi's apartment in Monte Carlo.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-02-09 06:07

My Aprilia Mille welcoming me at my doorstep.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-02-17 18:01
That's when I bought my BMW K100RS from BMW of New York in 2001. I kept that bike for another 15 years. Mother and Sis are in front of the bike. It was a good life at that time.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-02-17 17:47
Cullman AL

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-02-17 17:50
Monument to Meriwether Lewis (famous explorer) on the Natchez Trace trail through Tennessee. That's my Honda ST1100.

That's my Honda at Nick's Grill in Frankewing TN

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-02-17 01:07
I had this K75 for a short time, including the only time I went to Daytona. A year later I upgraded to a K100RS, which I sadly let go after 15 years.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-02-09 06:06
Trailered back after getting fixed - Cycle Den, Columbia PA

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-02-17 17:59
I rode my Honda ST1100 (aka Pan-European) from Athens AL to my legal home in Old Brookville NY in 2018. 1000 miles in two days. Nice ride.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-02-12 00:10
Me and my K100RS at my sister's house in Old Brookville just before I sold the Beemer. What a mistake!

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-02-18 03:00
Rockabilly's, on Pratt St. in Huntsville AL, has been out of business for 15 years.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-10-28 23:34
OK, so this is the extent of my riding nowadays - outside the nursing home where is my sister is, dropping off mail and clothing from home.

davidzelaby 🇺🇸 2020-10-29 01:47
As long as you're still riding, that's the main thing.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-11-30 20:36
The Ducati SS750 was mine; at my rented room in New Johnsonville TN when I was working there at the Dupont plant.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-11-30 20:37
The home in Athens AL, the Tahoe, the trailer and the Aprilia RSV Mille were all mine at one time. I've still got the Tahoe and trailer in NY, both pretty worn out (including me).

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-12-09 23:44
This was when I came back from the work flight to Germany. My Aprilia was waiting at the bike shop in Alpharetta.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-12-09 23:45
Transporting my Beemer with my old Silverado and trailer. I lived in that Clinton St. apartment until I bought the new house on Belmont Circle

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-12-09 23:46
My Beemer (or I think it is) in front of my apartment at Clinton St., Athens.

davidzelaby 🇺🇸 2020-12-10 06:56
Time flies, doesn't it?

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-12-10 22:11
Gee, only 16 (WOW!) years ago. The rented apartment was right before I moved to the home I posted photos of in the other album.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-12-16 02:47
The Tiger wasn't mine - just a loaner bike while mine was getting repaired.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-12-16 02:47
Restaurant in New Johnsonville where I went often.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-12-16 02:46
This was the Dupont plant in New Johnsonville where I worked for about a year. Commuted on my Ducati

davidzelaby 🇺🇸 2020-12-16 06:04
Nice way to commute.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2020-12-17 00:26
It's like that past life belonged to someone else.

davidzelaby 🇺🇸 2020-12-17 04:38
I know that feeling...

davidzelaby 🇺🇸 2021-01-11 05:51
I prefer the traditional Triumphs.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2021-01-11 06:11
I've just had the more modern ones; i.e., after they came back in '91. I left a Triumph Trident Sprint in Gaeta in 2002.

davidzelaby 🇺🇸 2021-01-11 09:12
'Left' as in 'abandoned'?

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2021-01-11 21:19
Yes. I was thinking of going back to get it, then I ran into legal problems here. A few years later the storage people send my sister a letter (she never told me) that they were confiscating it because of unpaid storage fees.

davidzelaby 🇺🇸 2021-01-11 23:51
What a shitty way of losing a bike. My days of risking paying storage are over.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2021-01-12 01:58
My fault, I didn't pay for over a year due to "unforseen" circumstances. However, the people I tasked with paying my bills, my sister and my accountant, didn't see fit to pay all my bills either.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2021-01-12 02:21
This is the bike that I ended up forfeiting, when it was at the Great Yarmouth Power Plant in 2001: https://imgsrc.ru/ducman4988/63393409.html

davidzelaby 🇺🇸 2021-01-12 07:34
Now THAT was a beauty. Don't you hate it, when you look back at all the things you let slip by? I do.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2021-01-12 20:30
Story of my life; and many other lives.

davidzelaby 🇺🇸 2021-01-12 21:40
Indeed. I still kick myself for selling my 1978 Rickenbacker 4001 bass guitar, and my 1966 Chevelle. A hundred other things, as well.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2021-01-12 21:54
Triumphs are beautiful and ride nice, but they required more maintenance than most of my other bikes. HEY, someone had a comment that started out as "long, long time ago...". I said that it sounded like the beginning of American Pie (Don McLean). He DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THAT WAS. That song was all about my generation.

davidzelaby 🇺🇸 2021-01-12 22:00
I liked the low-maintenance aspect of Hondas and Suzukis- especially shaft-drives.

davidzelaby 🇺🇸 2021-01-11 05:51
I always wanted a Triumph.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2021-01-12 02:16
Mike, another transplant from Bechtel in Rockville, MD, at his house in Athens AL.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2021-01-12 02:22
This was in front of my apartment in Athens, AL, when I first moved there from Frederick, MD. Boy, I WOULD LOVE to have that bike back.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2021-05-17 05:46
Me & my Duc ST2 at the 40th HS Reuni0n. Good old days.

davidzelaby 🇺🇸 2021-05-17 08:07
Wow! You haven't changed much at all since then.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2021-05-17 15:23
Not physically, but there's been a lot of negative events since then.

davidzelaby 🇺🇸 2021-05-17 20:17
Indeed.

davidzelaby 🇺🇸 2021-05-17 08:08
Nice scenic overlook.

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2021-05-17 15:25
and my old trusty beemer

davidzelaby 🇺🇸 2021-05-24 06:41
Stylin'!

ducman4988 🇺🇸 2021-05-24 17:22
Yes, very much so.
