When we first got this call, our dispatch made it sound like two commuter trains had collided and derailed. We had Hazmat, special ops, heavy rescue, utility, and 5 ambulance crews assigned. All that was really needed was the engine crew, and a couple people from uni0n pacific.

The area that I work in is great for many reasons, one of which is the diversity of calls. This is a mountain rescue from an injured back-country skier.

This is one of the air-rescue agencies that we deal with. Life-flight is affiliated with the IHC hospitals. They do a wonderful job.

A 4-alarm fire at a warehouse fairly close to our station 2. This building was divided into two sections. Someone was squatting in one of the sections and started the fire. Luckily we were actually able to save the other half of this building! The pictures all look pretty defensive though, don't they?
