I am not mistaking when calling these women girls. The Concise Oxford English Dictionary states that girl may mean ‘a young or relatively young woman’, Cambridge Advanced Learner’s Dictionary – ‘young woman’, Merriam-Webster Unabridged and Collegiate – ‘a young unmarried woman’ or ‘a single or married woman of any age’. Any reference on the English language will confirm the justness of my use. As for your expectations - ‘The girls we want to see are aged 15 or less.’, I do not understand were they come from. They can’t possibly stem from the title, as I didn’t name the album ‘little’ or ‘young’ girls, or ‘girls under 15’. Nor did I post this under ‘kids’. On the other hand, woman is defined as ‘an adult human female’. So, what narrows down the content of this album best? Girl – which by the definition of ‘female child’ and ‘young woman’ can be any female aged, let’s say, 0 – 28 years. ‘Woman’, assuming your definition as well, can be aged 16 – 82 (the life expectancy for women in the UK). Should I use a 28 year interval to name my album, or a 66 year one? Sorry for the long reply, by I felt that this really needed clarifying. The simpler solution would have been deleting your comments, but I thought this would be more polite. Anyway, more polite than calling these women ‘old hags’ and ‘grannys’.

This photo is in all respects of much lower quality than all the rest in this excellent album, not that it really detracts when the rest is so good. The work which must have gone into this is incredible. Very nice idea to narrow the focus of the album as a whole, and treat the subjects in creative ways. Bravo, well done, hope you can do more! (P.S. Ignore the people who carp about 'girl', if the album is not to their liking they can simply move on!)
