A charming still from the, 'St Trinians' movie series, The plots were pathetic, the dialogue dated... But I love these ancient relics from my own schooldays in the 50s and 60s. These girls look like my lovely class mates, the drag queen headmistress looks like the one who used to make those girls hold up their skirts at the back so she could smack their legs for being naughty. Navy bloomers, red legs...Oh happy days!

Kids have never looked like kids. They always are portrayed and dressed like mini-adults. If you trace the dat of this ad and look at women's and young girl's clothing, you'll notice that they are the same but in "mini" version.

Gloria Jean, another Hollywood super star from the 30s and 40s. Perfect figure, perfect profile, and a natural acting tallent. There is no equivilent today in my humble opinion.
