Astrid Lindgren started writing the story of ”Pippi Långstrump” in 1944. The result was 3 books, and the last one was finished in 1948 when Astrid was 41 years old. I would say she was definitely not a hottie. The production of the TV-series started in 1969 when Inger Nilsson(Pippi) and Maria Persson(Annika) was 10 y.o. while Pär Sundberg(Tommy) was 12 y.o. Swedish moviemakers are usually good at showing nude children, but unfortunately there are no nudity in any of these films. There are a lot of nice panty-views however.
