I had a 92 Passat saloon. One of the most comfortable and reliable cars I ever owned. It was my second Passat - the first one got written off in a major smash. The second one had done over 255,000 miles when I parted with it in 2001, and it is still going strong with the guy I sold it too. It even outlived the BMW 520iSE that I had replaced it with. I got a trusty Volvo 940 estate after that - I called it my Viking longboat as it was huge and could carry just about anything. Currently have a classic Jaguar.

Neptunbrunnen am Marktplatz von Paderborn. Wunderbarer Brunnen, der den Mythos von Neptun und die Ernsthaftigkeit von Wagner und die Faszination des Wassers für alle Altersgruppen heraufbeschwört. Ich war dabei, als wir das letzte Mal ein RAMC-Treffen im BMH Münster hatten und weiter nach Göttingen fuhren.

I was entranced by it when there. I was brought up in Liverpool, where there are many such fountain-statues, and I have always had a love for ancient Roman and ancient Greek mythology - at primary school, it was all rather more plausible than the myths in the Bible.
