It's pretty awesome! The variant w/ the radome and other things is the Apache Longbow. Without the radome [& without the other things] it's the Apache. There's still something about that on the Boeing [used to be McDonnell Douglas] website: http://www.boeing.com/boeing/rotorcraft/ military/ah64d/ Both are awesome. It was neat working on some aspects of it back in the 80s. Cheers!

i think you got something wrong. this is no warthog...;) the bow mounted gun is a M230 single barrelled chaingun...no gatling there... ;)

agreed but the warthog is probably the most ugly fixed wing plane but I sure as hell dont want to hear it "fart" from a mile away and blow you to hell in a tank no thank yourather sit on the side as the unfortunate idiots in the tank won't hear the "fart" as they will be dead but yes the longbow apache is my favourite attack helicopter.Had seen the documentarry about it on discovery channel an brother I sure don't want to be it's enemy. yes south africa has the rooivalk attack helicopter but it's in my eyes even uglier than the m24 "hunchback".Back in the days of apartheid they had a puma gunship-pumma helicopter fitted with a 90mm recoilless gun fitted on the side through a open door,scary idea really.
