Great image, Fun photo. And I see some amazing needlework repairing by someone (his mom?). The short has been very rudimentary repaired on the back and so is the t-shirt on different spots. Someone has little money to buy new clothes for this lad. Or she or he might be just a person who, by principal, uses every piece of clothing till the very bitter end. I hope for the second.

True, I like this photo because the image tells so much. A little cute fishing kid wears his clothes inside out. Is this the typical kid mistake one often sees, or is it to avoid that the "right" side get's dirty? His shirt is old, worn to bits, too wide and at the same time too short. I like the story such a photo can tell. At the same time the story can be sad and dramatic or hopeful or funny or even heroic. Thanks for this photo, and best wishes to the kid.

Note that the kid has right size slippers; his body is free of scars and he is not skinny...Most of the time he's playing nude around, but for fishing on the village wharf, he put on the clothes he found hanging on the clotheline, not paying attention to the size or side...Actually the shirt belongs to a sister...He's from a fishermen family and feed daily with fresh fishes...They don't have cash, but they dont miss essential: food ,a small house, parents and siblings...Thanks for the interesting chat...

Thanks for the info. I feel happy this boy is well cared for, even if in the conditions he and his family live in is far from easy. On the other hand, I feel sad that these less comfortable conditions can exist. And not only in Asia but everywhere in our world..
