Not him being gay and behave as such is a shame, but the softness of the ones that should fully accept and protect him as he is, their lack of resistance against people (familymembers) who apparently cannot accept him in his identity, is! He cannot (and needs not) change himself, let the people around him change their anxious attitude!!

I am gay, Jasmina, but I could not admit that during my lifetime until recently. Now I am 73 and my life was ruined by homophobia. I hope with all my heart that it will be different for this handsome boy. It is his nature.

That's hard to be different! And my husband fights gay behavior of this boy only to avoid him being rejected or regarded as an abnormal person...But at now, we understand that he cannot change and we must help him to be strong enough to face intolerant attitude of most people against gay men...
