I took almost entirely B & W at that time; especially 'cause I could develop them myself. Before (see Gaeta 70's early) I took quite a few color slides (because of the poor quality of color negs); but then when that got too difficult for me, I waited until the 90's when negative color got much better

My favorite subject was always beautiful child photos, and B & W allowed me to concentrate more on the subject; and is generally considered more artistic.
