I didn't know much Carmine, just that he was a cute 14-year-old Italian kid down crabbing at Coney Island. I took these 1969 photos when I was just inducted in the USN down at the Brooklyn Navy Yard waiting for my deployment overseas. This was taken with a Mamiya C330.

Super-cute kid! He's probably a grandfather now. It was so easy taking candid pix of kids at that time.

It is so wonderful that you can look back on photos like this and remember them so vividly , as if they were taken just a few days ago. I often look back at my photos and the memory just rushes back instantly.
