Machteld van Foreest: dutch champion up to 14 years old (at 10 years old!). With a whopping 8 out of 9 points. The money prices for the youth in the Netherlands are utterly low. I think the KNSB should strive for (for example) 25 times the current prices. The chess club members would happily pay a bit more for that, to attract more youth players. Also, I wouldn't mind that all females could join the chess clubs for free, as long as the females are a very small minority at the clubs. The men wouldn't mind to pay for the ladies.
