this is a reliant bond bug. it was stripped down and rebuilt with new paint job, all new interior of strawberry and cream design and many £££ were spent on it. story has it that it was stolen soon after and trashed beyond recognition. further info was that it may get put back into the same finish again, but i dont know if it ever happened.

Bond Bugs were made by a company called RELIANT based in Tamworth England. they can be driven on a motorcycle full licence, have reliant engines and come in varying engine sizes. they were very popular in the 70's with bikers and enthusiasts. not many left now, and those that are command a very high price in any condition.

Choppers. all kinds. as i come across new ones, i will update this album. when you look at some of the work that goes into these bikes, its quite extraordinary. attention to detail is sometimes quite awesome. either way, what a way to spend some time.

My first passion. Honda CD175A. sometimes called "super sport". cd175a is very different from the later models, not least because the engine formed part of the frame and the cradle which is on the later models didnt exist on this one. great power for a small bike, with a low centre of gravity which aids banking of the bike. note the sloping engine, later models were more "sit up and beg" type. tune these little hondas right and they go like stink!
