Yeah, I love their light color. The texture was really nice for those ones too compared to the old ones we had 😉.

The color and pattern is great. I agree, the older ones were much thicker fabric, the newer ones are thinner and stretchier, conforms to our bodies better.

And that has two more outcomes to it also. With it tighter, it holds things back a bit better in case you get a bit excited, but because it's tighter, it may happen more frequently seeing the much more defined curves and such. Just gotta hope it goes down before your match starts lol.

Yes, definitely! Wasn't so much of a problem with the older ones, same with older speedos. We wore regular gym shorts for our wrestling matches so any "excitement" couldn't be seen. We could wear anything we wanted for practice but no one ever was naked. LOL

Yeah there are some perks to the shorts over singlets but I do like the comfort, and look, of singlets. I do like, however, how the tight athletic shorts and shirts are coming back as a uniform option. It helps bring in people who don't want to wrestle entirely because of the "leotards", and they're pretty cute too.

The stretchy shorts and tops give complete freedom of movement, the regular shorts would rip sometimes. And yes lycra does make us look a whole lot better.

But regardless of material, both pretty much allow for just enough "accidental" groping when it comes to wrestling lol, especially when you have control on top 😜.

When you are on top, in control it's pretty easy to wrap your hand around his thigh. Maybe a little too high?

But nobody would really notice because they're set on getting out of that position and winning. Plus, maybe you want to ensure they're tightly held for more security or something. Nothing too conspicuous about that but definitely fun for us lol.

Such little amount of time in the best positions lol. Which is why I loved practice so much too, we'd drill the same position over and over, which meant I could rub a bit over and over as long as I didn't accidentally pop something I couldn't control at the time lmao.

But it was a BIG problem with the original light weight nylon Speedos. Up close you could see right through those but they didn't stretch at all, a tight one held everything in place with no room for it to grow.

I wish speedos were more acceptable here in the US, I love the looks of them. But we pretty much only have the baggy shorts around sadly.

When I lived in USA I always wore speedos. some kids would make fun of me but I just didn't care. After a while the kidding stops. One guy said I wore a "marble bag". He was fat and i think he was really jealous.

Yeah I know, anything different and not the current style is seen as strange. I just gave up trying stay in style and wore what I thought looked cool and was comfortable. Only one thing is more comfortable for swimming than swim briefs.

Exactly! I wish people would just where what's comfy and worry less about what it looks like. Besides, it'll be often hidden by either water or something. And if more skin is exposed, you wouldn't have to worry about tan paleness or tan lines because it'd be the norm for you.

Yeah no matter how much sun you get, with baggy shorts comes shadows and that creates awful tan lines.
