1. Service rules:

iMGSRC.RU (short for Image Source) is a free image hosting for everyone. Intended to be used for showing your pictures we do not allow users to upload photos from other sites (carrying copyright strings of such). Please follow the rules below and save yourself from lots of trouble. We wish you a pleasant stay.

We can not be held responsible for any data loss. We reserve the right to lock out your account if you fail to follow our rules. We can not be held responsible for what user post on site, but we do take care to keep host as clean as possible from all the filth. By signing in for service you are bound to this and rules below.

• No pictures from other sites (pictures containing other site's watermark and/or copyright or had been previously posted by iMGSRC.RU users).
• No porn without password. These photos can be viewed by minors, which is no good. 'EZ', 'easy' or password in album name/description all counts as 'no password'.
  
• ANY nudity must be posted in nude section.
  
• ABSOLUTELY NO CHILD PORN (erected pen itself is already porn, keep that in mind) and no child abusive pics (urinating, spanking, bound pics and alike). Your account will be banned permanently.
  
• No ads (links to other sites, etc) on images and/or album name/description and/or comments. If you want to advertise legally - contact us, be banned otherwise.
  
• No accounts created for trade reasons only. This is NOT a message board.
  
• No Gigatribe. They are cheaters, so we just plain don't like them.
  
• No spam. Your IP will be banned for a random period of time for that first.
  

PS: If we block your account, it means that you violated rules somehow. Generally we will not explain to each and everyone why that had happened, but you can try to email us. If you have read these rules you already know what you did wrong so don't try to argue. We do not take any responsibility for keeping your pictures online.

2. FAQ

Q1: I can't login. 'Session expired'. Help!
A1: Cookies must be enabled to access the site. Also the correct (according to YOUR location) time and timezone is a must to login. Some popup blockers and antiviruses (namely, Norton Antivirus) are known to cause problems, you must configure them to allow cookies from us. If this didn't help you feel free to email us. Please include your IP AND your login on iMGSRC.RU.

Q2: Where do i get password for locked albums?
A2: Please take a minute to find a way contacting the author of the album, not us. Use either email on the author's page or simply comment any picture in the open album. Your email to us regarding this issue will be ignored.

Q3: (Some of) My photos are gone! WHY?
A3: This can ONLY happen if you somehow violated rules above. If your account is not yet locked, consider this being a warning.

Q4: I was a very smart-ass and i removed copyrights from photos! You removed them! WHY?
A4: We use a very smart technique to detect copyrighted material even after it was altered. After all it is still copyrighted.

Q5: I made a mistake putting here online some photos, prohibited by rules. Can you please unlock me, i will behave!
A5: No.

Q6: Damn it! Give me my pictures back! I'll host somewhere else!
A6: When we lock your account we remove everything from it.

Q7: How do i rename/remove account (login name)?
A7: To mantain system integrity account in the system can be neither renamed nor removed. If you don't want to use your account, simply don't use it :)

Q8: I found my pictures posted on iMGSRC.RU. I want you to remove them!
A8: Please provide exact links to your pictures on iMGSRC.RU together with the corresponding files. Please take a note that files you provide should be original unedited files (this is only to prove your ownership). If you do not have such online somewhere, please attach them in email. 2-3 files per account is enough. Failing to provide original files renders you being not an author.

Q9: I've created (updated) my albums but they do not show up in search. Why?
A9: Thanx to all spammers all new and updated albums are now not visible in search until they are checked by moderators. Also albums with small number of pictures are not showing up. Spamming is not welcome.

Q10: For some reason i can't click on any of today's new registrants like if they had nothing posted. Why is it so?
A10: See previous question for reasons.

Q11: All of a sudden i can't save any picture from site! I am using Internet Explorer and all pictures only save as untitiled.bmp - what can i do?
A11: Check out this microsoft KB article.

Q12: I didn't receive an email with password upon registration. How come?
A12: Some providers (namely AT&T, AOL) block emails we send from the server. Get a better email, like gmail.com or something.

Q13: How do i get a new password?
A13: Use form here - http://imgsrc.ru/main/login.php.

Q14: Can i earn money posting pictures on iMGSRC.RU?
A14: Yes, join URLCash and promote links to your iMGSRC.RU galleries on forums, blogs, etc. It's completely free.
Q15: My comments do not appear on page.
A15: Are you a spammer? Spam in a no-no on iMGSRC.RU. Read more.
Q16: What are the pageviews numbers on my page?
A16: Pageviews today + pageviews before today. Not a rocket science to add those to get totals? :)
