Its a girl. She can retain herself. Boys mature at a slower rate. This is proven in toilet training. At age 4-5 there are more boys that are still full daytime wetters then girls. and boys past 5 years of age also have problems at night. Just keep them in diapers 24/7 until 10 or later :)

anon 70.71.9 not sure where you got that from but from expierance boys are much easier to potty train than girls bedwetting tends to be caused by a medical problem such as the bladder not growing properly or from infections etc

GB, u need to do some more research. ur experience does not match statistics. boys are are more prone to bedwetting for much longer than boys. its nice we have so many bedwetting pants available for kids that dont want to wear real diapers. at least they dont have to wake up in wet beds

Grew up knowing both boys and girls that wore either diapers or bedwetting pants each night to bed. Oddly enough it was 3 of each and always wet in the morning? Go figure.
